Child Safety

Last updated: 16 September 2026

This is a translation of the original Dutch version. In case of any discrepancy, the Dutch text prevails.

Ohhi is a private space for families and friends to share photos and videos. The safety of children on our platform is a priority, and we have zero tolerance for child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE).

Our commitment

Reporting abuse

If you encounter content or behaviour that may involve the sexual abuse or exploitation of a child, report it to us at privacy@ohhi.nl. Please include a link or description so we can locate it.

You can also report CSAM directly to the relevant authorities: in the Netherlands to Offlimits (offlimits.nl), and internationally to NCMEC (report.cybertip.org).

How we respond

Accounts of minors

Ohhi is intended for users aged 13 and over. At registration we check the date of birth; users aged 13 to 15 require verifiable consent from a parent or guardian before they can participate.

Accounts for ages 13 to 15 carry extra restrictions. Screen time is limited to one hour a day by default and we send no notifications at night. Creating public share links isn't possible, nor is inviting someone who doesn't have an Ohhi account yet. Face recognition and findability through mutual friends are off and can only be enabled by a parent or guardian. That parent manages the account from their own Ohhi account and can adjust the settings and the screen time; they do not see the child's photos.
