Ohhi

The European alternative to Facebook and Instagram

More and more people want their photos and family moments away from the big American platforms. Ohhi is built for exactly that: sharing with your own circle, under European law, with no business model built on your attention.

For us, 'European' is not a flag on the website. Ohhi is a Dutch company, your photos and videos live on servers inside the European Union, and there is no American parent company in between that falls under different laws. What you share stays within the circle you invite.

What Ohhi deliberately doesn't rebuild

Facebook does a lot at once: public reach, pages, a marketplace, an endless stream of content from people you don't know. We don't replace that part, and that's a choice. Ohhi focuses on the part most people actually want to take with them: sharing photos and videos with family and friends, and seeing their reactions — no audience, no noise.

Bringing your circle over without the hassle

An alternative only works if your family is there too. Viewing and reacting is free on Ohhi, so you don't have to convince anyone to pay. One subscription is shared with up to six accounts — parents, children and grandparents move over in one go.

Frequently asked questions

Is Ohhi really European?

Yes. Ohhi is a Dutch company and your photos and videos live on servers inside the European Union, under Dutch and European law (GDPR). There is no American parent company subject to the CLOUD Act in between.

How much does Ohhi cost?

Viewing and reacting is free. If you want to share photos and videos yourself, paid plans start at €6 per year. One subscription can be shared with up to six accounts.

Does Ohhi show ads or sell my data?

No. Ohhi makes money from subscriptions, not from your attention. We show no ads, sell no data and never use your photos to train AI models.

Can I easily bring my family over from Facebook?

Yes. You invite them by email, and an account to view and react is free. You start with one shared album instead of a big migration.

Does Ohhi replace Facebook entirely?

No, deliberately not. We don't rebuild public pages, groups or a marketplace. Ohhi replaces the personal part: sharing moments with the people you care about.
